TDV-M Timed Discharge Valve – Water Supply at Regular Intervals

Additional applications include refreshing dead leg pipes to rarely or unused pipes in unoccupied parts of buildings and to replenish seals in traps, gullies and drains compensating for loss of water due to evaporation.

The TDV-M water valve control is supplied ready wired and is simple to install & setup with clearly marked controls to set the necessary parameters.

Specifcation for TDV-M Timed Discharge Water Valve

Dosing Volume / Interval: To meet all needs the on (valve opening time) and the off (interval) is adjustable from 1 to 9 hours.

Solenoid valve: Brass Normally Closed (fail-safe), 1/2″ British Standard Pipe (BSP) female threads, 13.5mm orifice, pressure range 0.35 – 10 Bar, WRAS approved.

TDV-B Timed Discharge Valve (Battery Powered) – Water Supply in Regular Intervals

The unit is battery powered making it ideal for remote sites where mains electricity is unavailable. The control is also suitable for replenishing trap seals due to evaporation.

The TDV-B uses quartz crystal-controlled timekeeping and low power technology supporting an average battery life of up to four years. The control is easy to set up with a wide range of user selectable time intervals including hourly, four times daily, twice daily, daily, every two days and twice weekly.

The volume of water which is discharged is determined by the valve opening time. This can simply be set using the internal pushbutton or (without removing the front cover) using the Magi-Test wand. The control can be configured to discharge any volume, from a fraction of a litre per week to multiple litres per hour covering most applications.

A low battery status warning is provided by the LED which blinks every two seconds.

We recommend a procedure is put in place to change the batteries at least every two to three years.

WT-100 Water Timer – On-Demand Water Release

The WT-100 industrial grade control features an adjustable electronic timer which can be set from 0.1 seconds to 100 hours in seven ranges. The WT-100 is supplied ready wired and is simple to install.

Example of application: A CNC engineering company dilutes costly cutting fluid for use with their lathes. Initially machine operators ran taps to fill tanks, frequently resulting in taps being left running. Consequently, water and expensive cutting fluid overflowed onto the floor resulting in unnecessary hazard, wasted water, materials and time spent cleaning up.

Fitting a WT-100 water timer and 1/2″ valve, the time was set for the period to fill a tank from empty. This resulted in cutting the water and fluid costs and removing the risk of spillage.

AutoLitre Digital Dosing Control – Measured Fluid Dispenser

The AutoLitre has a start button which opens a valve to deliver the exact volume of water or liquid before shutting off the supply. The volume is measured using a pulse meter, and a system can be built around any pipe size. Therefore, by choosing the appropriate valve and pulse water meter the preset volume can range from just one litre to hundreds of cubic meters of water or liquid.
